I love Shelby. I used to dislike it because it's cutesy and trendy, but now I know two ~11 year old girls named Shelby (one is in my class) and they've made me feel differently about it. It's still cutesy and trendy lol, but I don't mind any more. I probably wouldn't use it on my own initiative, but if S suggested it I wouldn't say no.

I don't like Abigail so it's hard for me to think of things that go with it, but I don't see anything wrong with Abigail and Shelby as siblings.

Abigail is nice, but I really dislike Shelby. It's surnamey and unfeminine, and don't see why it flows so well with Abigail.

Abigail is a strong, beautiful name. Miriam? Dorothy?Brigit? Susan, or perhaps Suzanne?

I like the idea of pairing Shelby with Abigail. Its not very popular and it beats pairing a trendy Abigail with a Hannah or Sophia by a mile. So go for it.

I think Shelby is sweet, but I'm not sure I like it with Abby. I generally dislike repeating sounds in sibsets (shel-BEE and AB-ee), but then again that's just my personal tastes.

I like Shelby. It's cute and not very common. And, yes, I do think it works well with Abigail.

I think Shelby is really cutesy and annoying. I really dislike the sound and I can't really compare it to historical feminine Abigail.
