I love it for a girl. Not too fond of the nn Asp though.

I don't like it much as a first name, but I think it makes a gorgeous mn. Recently I like the look and sound of Leah Aspen.

I really do not like Aspen. I don't understand why it is getting so popular..It doesn't sound cute or pretty and I really dislike the As- part...definately not a name I would choose for a little girl if she had a couple big brothers..just imagine those jokes!

I really, really dislike it. I'm not a fan of trendy place names anyway, and it always makes me think of someone trying too hard to be cool or seem like they have a lot of money ('We're going to Aspen on vacation...'). And when I think of it, I hear "ass pen" (as in, a place to keep asses :-/).

I would like to like it because I'm always interested in nature names, but it really doesn't sound like a name to me. Just the tree and the place. And I don't care for the Asp sound. It's unattractive to me and reminds me of the snake.
