I like it!
I actually like it for a girl but not for a boy. I suspect I may be in the minority here. I started to like it many years ago when I came across a place called Ashton. At the time I'd never heard of it used for a person.I probably wouldn't use it though as it seems too trendy and now it is popular as a boy's name (especially because of Ashton Kutcher). But I might consider it for a middle name.
