I prefer Zara, just for the simplicity. But I prefer the ZAH-rah pronunciation over the ZARE-ah one.

Of course, I may be completely wrong since I've never heard these names spoken. If so, would someone please correct me?

Definitely Zara. My newborn gorgeous little niece is named Lara and I can't imagine the name Larah on her. :) Zarah looks too long like that--I think only Sarah can pass that way. Zara is pretty though. I also tend to love my blue-eyed little princess of a niece Lara's name SOOO much--her middle name is just stunning! It's a Hungarian name all the way but it's way adorable! :D
So, please pick Zara over Zarah!
