I don't think I'd use these for sisters myself.
I always think of Pepper Schwartz when I see the name Pepper. She is a sociologist who has done very well-respected academic research, though she also is now involved with one of the online dating sites, which many social scientists would look at with a bit of skepticism. I had to call her once several years ago about a different issue and couldn't resist asking about her name. At birth she was Judith Schwartz. But in her high school in Toledo, Ohio, there were 3 Judy Schwartzes. So she and her brother thought up Pepper as a new name for her. I believe it is now her legal name.

Pepper seems little too informal to me for an official name, but Dr. Schwartz has done quite well with it.
