I don't care for it at all. No concrete reason, I just don't like the sound.As for it being a term of endearment in your country, "honey" is a term of endearment in English, and Honey has been used as a name in this country, though not that often and certainly not recently.

I don't like the name Honey, lol...but I guess you're right, other people have used it, and it's much more obvious than Myrna is.
btw I didn't mean the meaning of Myrna would be known to the majority of Scots, but if I was in the Hebrides some of the Gaelic speaking locals might find it a bit weird.
