Aurora and Alkony as good twin names?(m)

Aurora is absolutely stunning. For Alkony, I cannot say the same... :(
Anthony?
Alkony reminds me of Anthony and it doesn't sound girly at all. Alkony is totally masculine for me, and I can't even see it as a name.

Cute meaning & nice names but I don't like twins having same letter names. Other that they sound good together.
I don't really like Alkony.
I also dislike that they both begin with A. They are already have themed meanings, so beginning with the same letter seems like overkill.
I do like Aurora, though. I think Aurora and Danica would make a nice twinset (Danica means "morning star"). Or perhaps Aurora and Soleil?

I like how the names are connected in meaning, but not "theme-y". That being said, I'm not feeling Alkony at all and it seems particularly out of place with beautiful and regal Aurora. I love Hannah Ruth's suggestion of using Vesper or Hesper instead. I love both of those names and think either one woulf be a much better fit with Aurora. Plus you get to keep the same meaning.
I'm not mad on Alkony.
Vesper or Hesper / Hespera / Hesperia means 'evening' (or 'evening star'), I prefer that.
Gethin (male) is Welsh for 'dusky'.
