I just heard it recently and really liked it, though I had to take it off my list because my husband didn't like it. I love the lake/water reference and thought my husband would like the reference, but he did not like the sound.
I pronounce it LAHK-lin. It's a bit harsh sounding. I don't like it pronounced LAH-Klin because it sounds too throaty to me.

Ditto REM, absolutely ditto--I'd throw up saying it like that--LAHK-Hlin, my throat hurts when I pronounce it as such. :)
