I don't loathe Samantha anymore, I used to think it was fat and lame, but now I like it as - okay it is a bit rebellious, but since it's the "el" that means God in hebrew names Samantha is like Samuel but with Antha instead of El, it is a bit like - it reminds me of Shelley's sinful Ode to the West Wind, in which slyly replaces traditional religion with images of Spring and Wind. "name of Flower" or "Flower has heard."
For some reason Thessy prn Tessy is appealing to me. ???
Tessy's cute but a bit too cutesy for me. Of course all nicknames are too cutesy for me as full names, so there you go. Tessy Samantha is lovely.

Oh man, there was a Th- name that I wanted to get your opinion on. It was one of those relatively obscure names that are also totally cool because they are obscure and have neat histories (a la Sophonisba), but I can't think of what it is for the life of me!
