I had a college friend called Adele - she pronounced it Adelee, which I loved. It reminds me of the old-fashioned British 3-syllable pronunciation of Irene, but I think her mother just decided to pronounce it that way because I don't think it's traditional.
I think Adele is a nice name - I also like Adela and (either as a nn or real fn) Della.
I'd pick a three-syllable mn, such as Rosalind, Juliet, Katherine, Caroline, or Madeleine. Or a four-syllable one - Elizabeth or Lavinia.
