Joceyln/Joselyn?
What do you think of the name and do you like Josie as a nickname? Thanks!

I like Jocelin / Josselin on a boy only, with French prononciation. Josie is ugly to me.

I like the name Jocelyn and that is the only way I would use it or spell it. I dislike the nn Josie b/c to me it's a nn for Josephine, a name I don't care for. I like Joss as a nn for Jocelyn though. It's much more appropriate. Although, I have a friend name Jocelyn who we've always called Joc.

I like the name Jocelyn but am not too fond of the sp. Joselyn. I think it's a very pretty name, and the NN Josie is cute although I like the name without a NN too.

I like Joselyn and yes, I would use Josie as a nn. :)
My daughter's name is Jocelyn. I use Joce or Jocie as a nickname (pronounced like "Joss").
I love Jocelyn (this spelling only) on a girl. It is on my favourites list. It's got historical meaning in being from the name of a Germanic tribe. The spelling was changed because of misinterpretation of it a a double diminuitive of Joyce. That is so the history of English. It also means I can honour Joyce with this name and yet give the child their own name with it's own meaning and history.
I think Josie as a nn is ok. Though I'd be more inclined to nn Jocelyn as Joss. What about Jossy? It's like Josie just a short 'o' instead of a long one. If I met a Josie I would guess that their full name was Josephine and not Jocelyn.

I love Jocelyn - not with "s". Josie works fine for a nickname.
