Chrysanthemum
Chrysanthemum, WDYT? is it too long? I love the sound of it I don't know if I'd use it just asking opinions.

Not too long, necessarily, but a bit too much to use on a real person? I wouldn't mind it as a GP, but that's it.

It looks weird. That in Italy Chrysanthemums are flowers reserved for funerals and graveyards doesn't help much for me.

Too much...[m]Chryseis (kri-SAY-es) perhaps? It has the same etymological origin 'golden'.

It sounds pretty but it is way too long.

Since this is a flower that we only put on graves and it is conected with death here, I'd never use it on a child (+ it's very long and problematic as far as spelling).

It's a bit of a GP of mine. =] I think the sound is very pretty, but it's quite long, and probably unusable. (In fact, I think there's a children's book called Chrysanthemum about a girl who's teased because her name is so long! I'm completely serious!) So, because of that, I gave you a couple of names that have similar sounds...Christine / Christina
