WDYTO Patience?
I really love the sound of this name. But is it useable? Is it too tied to the Puritans and reminscent of some of the more out-there names that they used, such as God-Is-My-Deliverance Smith, etc? Is it too much to carry? What if Patience turns out to be a very impatient person?
Do you like Patience, and do you think it is suitable for modern times?

I suggested the name Patience to my friends when they were pregnant. They had a little girl and named her Patience Aaliyah. I like it, but can't use it now. :(

Patience...is not a virtue :-pIn my opinion anyway.I like the sound but I don't see it as a positive attribute and wouldn't use it for that reason. It isn't too Puritanical to me, it does have that old fashioned charm though.

I think it's an adorable name. And I don't think it really matters if Patience turns out to be impatient

I don't think that it would good as a name. Maybe its because "patience" is a word that we use frequently.

Personally, I don't really like it. It's along the lines of Constance or Prudence which I hate.
It's more usable than Constance or Prudence i think.
I can't think of any nns i like.
