Holly.

I really like it. I've only ever met two girls named Holly, so it doesn't feel overdone to me. And both girls were very sweet so it's also doesn't have a trashy/stripper feel to it for me. I don't know that I quite like it enough for it to make my short list (especially as Molly is one of my favorite names and Holly and Molly are obviously too close) but I do like it a lot and I would love to meet a little Holly.
Holly is a favorite of mine. I don't associate it with a stripper image at all.
I had to laugh out loud at the stripper comparison...I see where you're coming from with that, but to me it sounds less stripper-esque and more 1980's suburban. But then again, when I think of it in terms of what it actually means, it becomes romantic and slightly antique, which is nice. In that sense, I put it in the same category as Lucy or Frances.
I grew up w/ a Holly and she was always very nice & sweet. I like it. It doesn't remind me of a stripper at all.
Sweet
I like Holly. It's short, sweet, and I tend to like the ones I meet. It reminds me of names like Nora and Fiona--uncomplicated things that are easy to warm to if you consider them in the right light. The more I look at Holly even now the more I like it, I think.
I enjoy Hollis as well. I think I like how they're heavy on the Ls and have that particular O sound.

There are over hundred names I would put in the "stripperish" category before Holly. In fact I don't put Holly in that category at all. Holly is a very sweet and lovable name to me.
I also wouldn't mind Holly as pet name for Hollis (which I think is a fantastic name). My brother actually knows a guy named Hollywood (real legal first name) and people call him Holly for short. I inquired if people tease Hollywood about having his name shortened to Holly and my brother states no one teases and Hollywood doesn’t have an issue with it.

Very unremarkable.

I *count* Hollies in a different category to Hollys. I really need to sign in so I can edit...
