Spring
WDYT of Spring for a girl? I feel it's much prettier then Summer (GP), and Autumn (GP) I don't see why it cannot be used sine the other seasons are. Winter is just as lovely it's also on my list, but as a middle name. Spring brings to mind flowers, and new life I love the image it brings. any MN for it?

My mom worked with a lady named Spring once. It's a bit odd, and I personally dislike the sound, but I think it's workable. I don't think anybody would be too shocked, really. I could see some dirty "Spring into action" puns in middle school, though.

I love it. I like all the season names, really. :D I think I only have Winter on my PNL though, but I should maybe add the other ones too.

Umm....no.No no no. Sorry, but I just don't think it would work on the person.

Love it!I like it much better than Summer (the -er always bothers me) or Autumn. I do see why some people might not like it. There aren't a lot of girls' names that end in -ng, and not too many starting with an awkward bunch of consonants. I love the unusual sound of it, though, and I agree that it certainly brings up images of flowers and emerging life- an image I love, since where I live there's about a week of that between freezing and boiling temperatures! For some reason, Cherish Spring, Idony Spring, and Anwen Spring come to mind.

It is so much nicer than Summer and not as popular as Winter. I like Autmun the best, but I would totally use Spring, also.

I think Spring is a usable name. But I think it would be better in the mn section. Also, I like the name Autumn best. But I do believe Spring could be ok to use as a mn.

I like itIt also makes me think of new life, beginnings...just renewal in general. It has a happy, refreshing sound to it...I like it. I actually saw a combo - Spring Robin - on of your "Random BAs" posts and I liked that.

It's not my taste, but then again, I do like some of the Summer, Winter, and Autumn combos that float around here (as GPs). Let me give it a whirl:Spring Annabelle
Spring Isadora
Spring Josephine
Spring Emmeline
Spring Constance
Spring Avalon
Spring Eden
Spring Twilight
Spring Siobhan
Spring Margaret
Spring Anwen
Spring Lilian
Spring Mae
Spring Lark
Spring Serenity
Spring Golden
Spring Beryl
Spring Linden
Spring Kestrel
Spring Blythe
Spring Cecilia
Spring Peronel
Spring Edith
Spring Felicity
Spring Rowena
Spring CassiaSee any you like? After doing this, it seems like Spring would work better in the mn spot, just by the rhythm of it. Edith Spring and Rowena Spring sound quite pretty to me, even if they aren't totally my style.

as well as Autumn. Summer is all right, I guess. Spring is a nice, unique name without being too unusual.

"Spring is a nice, unique name without being too unusual."How can a name be unique but not unusual?

There was an actress named Spring Byington, and it was the name she was given at birth, not a stage name. I don't like it at all, though. Summer is a GP of mine, and I even like Winter as a name somewhat. Those are both more attractive words than Spring, therefore they make more attractive names.

I hate it. There's an actress who was in Little Women in the 1930s named Spring. I just don't see how it could work on a person, honestly.
