Some VERY Roman names
I love Roman names on boys because they just seem so strong and leader-ish. Also, they're unique, but not made up. These are some of my favorites. Are they usable? And what combos (fn or mn) come immediately to mind with these?Daedalus
Servius
Avitus
Romulus
Octavius
Aristides
Septimus
Deimos
Atlas
Augustus
Constantine
Ioannes
Roman (perhaps too blunt haha!)
Tiberius
Severus
Theocritus
Ares
Lucius
Silvanus

I think this are usable:Deimos
Augustus
Constantine
Ioannes
Roman (perhaps too blunt haha!)
Lucius
You might be able to use the others as middle names, but not paired with the ones I listed above. I think pairing two Roman names together is over-kill. But that's just me.

Oh, I love them too. Me smile. The most usable: Roman, Augustus, Constantine, Lucius.Ones you could still get away with: Octavius / Octavian, Septimus, Tiberius, Severus, Silvanus.Any of them would work as mns.Combinations? How about:Roman Marcel
Augustus Henry
Constantine Peter
Lucius Aurelius
Septimus Nigel
Octavian Cyril
Tiberius Leo, nn Ty?
Others you might like: Linus, Marcellus, Hadrian, Junius, Felix, Cornelius, Desiderius, Claudius, Quintus, Marius, Rex, Tarquin, Horatio (Horatius?), Aurelius / Aurelian, Aemilius, Flavius, Justinian, Leontius, Valerius / Valerian, Laurentius, Tacitus. Daedalus - I've always liked Daedalus nn Daed.
Servius - Much prefer Severus.
Avitus - Not sure.
Romulus - I like this one a lot.
Octavius - I like it, but I have trouble seeing it on someone who isn't the eighth child.
Aristides - Love this one.
Septimus - I like this one too. Same issue as with Octavius, though.
Deimos - I don't care for this one.
Atlas - I like this.
Augustus - Love it.
Constantine - Absolutely love this!
Ioannes - NMS.
Roman - I like it. Might make a good nn for Romulus.
Tiberius - Reminds me of Captain Kirk, but I like it.
Severus - I love Severus, even with the Harry Potter association.
Theocritus - Like it.
Ares - I like it, but I wonder if the god of war association is too much.
Lucius - Love it.
Silvanus - Love this one too.I think the most usable ones are:
Octavius
Septimus
Augustus
Constantine
Roman
Tiberius
Severus
Ares
LuciusThe others aren't bad, just slightly less socially acceptable, I think. I'm having a hard time with combos right now. The only one I can actually think of is Nicholas Constantine, and that's just because it's been one of my favorites for a while.

"Dead" as a nn? I dunno if I could get used to that. The DED in DED-a-lus has always thrown me off the name. Too "dead"-like.I agree with your usable list, though.
Edit: Are you pronouncing Daed as... dayd?

Oh whoopsiesI had gotten those from the random name generator a while ago when I searched Greek names. I'd forgotten that they weren't Roman. Oh well, I love them anyway lol!
