Agnes and Hilda
There were two little girls in the grocery store today, I heard their dad use their names: Agnes and Hilda. I like each name separetely, but also think it's a good sibset. They makes a nice change from the kind of names I'm used to seeing... WDYT?

I like both and I think they sound well together. I love Agnes.

Oh! An Agnes how lovely it's been on my list for ages.

I adore Agnes and really like Hilda, but I'm hoping Hilda's short for Hildegarde, myself.

I don't like Hilda, but I love Agnes, especially with the nn Aggie. I think it's adorable.

Both names are a too little harsh-sounding for me, personally, but it is sort of nice to see them being used again.

I like Agnes but Hilda makes me think of a hippo. I just find it pretty unattractive.

Agree with you definitely. Except I think Agnes is actually kind of pretty while Hilda has not made it that far yet. I so hope Hilda is short for Hildegarde!

I love Agnes, but I much prefer Hildegarde to Hilda, especially with the nn Hildy. I've always loved Hildegarde (no, seriously), and Hildy Johnson is one of the main characters in my favourite black and white film of all time.Array

Both to me seem too 1800/1900th century for me.
