Nickname suggestions + pronounciation question
Anastasia has been popping into my head a lot lately, besides the obvious Ana/Anna can you think of any suitable nicknames for Anastasia? and how would you pronounce it?

I know someone named this, who pronounces it ahna-STAHZ-ee-uh. I really like this pronounciation, but the more common (at least where I live) pronounciation I also like, which is anna-STAJE-ah. I would pronounce it however the mom would like me to, though. Nicknames:
Tasia
Natasha
Nan(n)a
Nanni
SiSi
Nia
AnnieHope this helps!

I like Anastasia a lot. The most common pronunciation I've heard is an-uh-STAY-zha, but I really like an-uh-STAH-zee-a, with the nn Star (although that might only work in non-rhotic varieties of English).

I had a friend with this name, pronounced anna-STARS-ee-a. She went by Stasia (STARS-ee-a) or Sia (ZEE-a)

ann-ah-staj-yah is how my family would say it. I'd say Ann-ah-stay-sha. Anya, Aya, Stacy & Anna would be used interchangably by me, if I used Anastasia. I think it's gorgeous!

Anastasia is lovely, although I much prefer Anastasie. I would pronounce it a-na-STAY-zha.
If I ever use Anastasie I would use the nn Anya.
