When I heard this I was really surprised to find that it was a Welsh name. Over time it has grown on me.

I like it (check out my sig :b)
When I first saw it, I thought it was like Ian + toe, but it's not at all. More like yawn + toe. :b It's really grown on me, too. Not something I'd ever use, more like a GP, but I really like the show and the character. :)

Torchwood is a British spin-off from Dr Who set in Cardiff, Wales. It is more grown up than Dr who, but is linked with it. I think Ianto is prn. YAN-toh.
