How about Peter Damien instead of Peter Daniel? (Disclosure: Peter Damien is my brother's name.) I love Peter Daniel. It's very nice and will stand the test of time well. I just thought I'd throw out Peter Damien to see if you liked it.

Another idea is Piers / Pearce / Pierce, all pronounced the same way. It's a form of Peter. Or Petra on a girl?
