Iris isn't as surprising, but I don't hate it. I always think of the mean Iris on Alice In Wonderland.

I really like Maude (I prefer it spelled Maud) - it's on my PNL. Iris is pretty, but a little too floral for me. I keep trying to get into floral names with my combos but a lot of them are either GPs or they don't stick. Iris does have that vintage feel that Ava used to have.

Maude is a name I feel I should like but can't warm up to. It sounds kind of plain but not in a good way like Rose, Mae or Mary.
