I prefer Diana, as Diane is permanently entrenched in my brain as birth control. Along with Yasmin and Alessa. These companies need to stop using real names!

All things considered, I might avoid both with surname Spencer, as Princess Diana began her life as Lady Diana Spencer. Even though I was about 10 when she died, that came to mind pretty quickly (granted I live in a Commonwealth country).

Diana, definitely. Diane is very dated, whereas Diana is a classic and underused name.

I prefer Diana. Wasn't Spencer Diana, Princess of Wales' last name before she married Prince Charles? What a coincidence?!

I prefer Diana, but I don't think either one goes well with Spencer.

However I wouldn't want to use Diana with Spencer, as Diana Spencer was the princess.

I really like Diana. I like Anna better but Diana is still great. Diana Spencer is Princess Diana so that made me think of her. Diana and Spencer sound good together though.

I don't see either of them going too well with Spencer (I thought you disliked Spencer anyway?), but I think I like Diane a little more.
