Re: Mack, Mick, and Mitch
I usually hate Michael. But Michael nn Mick is awesome to me - so unexpected and retro. I hope you can be convinced of that. There are so very many Michaels in the world... I hope one day you will get over bad associations. There's also Mikhail, if you want to dip into the pool of Russian names.I also really like John nn Jack, incidentally.Mack is also pretty neat. I'd spell it Mac, though, because Mack seems too in-your-face-Hallo-I-am-a-Mack-truck. I also like Malcolm a lot lately, and Malcolm nn Mac works quite well. Let's see. I like Cormac a lot, I think it's very sharp. Martin nn Mick or Mac works. Any of the Max- names works, but I think that's pretty contrived. Joachim could be Mac? Lachlan, maybe? Macario, which I think is really neat. Malachi, definitely. Malachi nn Mac or Mack gmv.I don't like Mitch or Mitchell much. (Incidentally, Mitchell = Michael, etymologically.)Mick. Let's see. Dominic? Amalric? Emmerich?
