Re: Mack, Mick, and Mitch

I usually hate Michael. But Michael nn Mick is awesome to me - so unexpected and retro. I hope you can be convinced of that. There are so very many Michaels in the world... I hope one day you will get over bad associations. There's also Mikhail, if you want to dip into the pool of Russian names.
I also really like John nn Jack, incidentally.
Mack is also pretty neat. I'd spell it Mac, though, because Mack seems too in-your-face-Hallo-I-am-a-Mack-truck. I also like Malcolm a lot lately, and Malcolm nn Mac works quite well. Let's see. I like Cormac a lot, I think it's very sharp. Martin nn Mick or Mac works. Any of the Max- names works, but I think that's pretty contrived. Joachim could be Mac? Lachlan, maybe? Macario, which I think is really neat. Malachi, definitely.
Malachi nn Mac or Mack gmv.
I don't like Mitch or Mitchell much. (Incidentally, Mitchell = Michael, etymologically.)
Mick. Let's see. Dominic? Amalric? Emmerich?
