In the US, Archie would seem very odd on any man under say, sixty. It's not thought of as a particularly classy, well-educated type of name. Mostly this is due to the TV character Archie Bunker, who was a loud-mouthed bigot but lovable in his own way.
You'd kind of expect an Archie to have brothers named Bobby Joe and Billy Ray and Bubba.
