Junior and Junia sound exactly the same in an English accent as well which is the only thing that puts me off the name, otherwise I would like it. I really dislike children being called Junior as well.

Hm, I can't say I have this problem. in a new york accent, atleast all the new yorkers I've met, I think it would sound like "JOON-ya" Junia is pronounced "joon-ee-ah"
