What do you think of it? And nn Denny?

so humdrum it's cool
It's fine in a "so humdrum that it's cool" in a literary or cinematic kind of a way.

Dennis is nice, and Denny is adorable. It reminds me of Lydia shouting "DENNY!" in the '95 version of Pride & Prejudice.
Eh, Dennis makes me think of "Dennis the Menace", a cartoon and comic from my childhood that I loathed. While I like old names, Dennis is also a bit too dated, like Gary and Frank. I do like Denny, though. Denny is the name of Lydia and Kitty's friend in "Pride and Prejudice", so I imagine Dennies to be happy, fun, and carefree.
Like Dennis, not Denny!
Yay. I've always thought Dennis was an underappreciated name. Glad to see someone else likes it. And the nn Denny is very cute.
Not that you asked, but the feminine variant that I am smitten with at the moment is Dionysia ("dee-uh-NEE-sia" or "die-uh-NIE-sia.") Do you like that one, or is it too frilly?
