Mary Jane, unfortunately, reminds me of marijuana. Mary Kate is all right but puts me in mind of not only the actress, but Mary Kaye cosmetics. The others I don't really like- I don't like very many double names. A lot of them sound clunky. I do like:Annemarie or Annmarie
Marianne (or Marian)
Marilyn
Marlene (mar-LE-nuh, not mar-LEEN)

Thanks for the suggestions... Marie-Rose actually got me thinking about Mary-Rose... which I like the sound of. Its just... well, the boat.

I wouldn't hyphenate it in English. Mary Rose looks better.
