Re: Merari/Michal
I just adore Michal! I have trouble making the gutteral 'ch' sound, so I would probably not use it but as a middle name. But oh, I love love love it. Kelila Michal is my current Michal combination.Merari I've never heard before and am not sure how to pronounce it, but whatever way I say it it sounds nice. I think I like it.

I love Kelila Michal... my Hebrew name is Kelilah. :-) that's a gorgeous combo. I would probably use it as a fn, although here are some of my mn combos:Sadie Michal (after great-grandmother)
Anne Michal (great-aunt)
Leah Michal (Biblical)
Eva Michal (Biblical)
Noa Michal (Biblical)
Nava Michal (I just like it)
Danya Michal (variant on a Biblical name)what do you think?

I was too scared to mention Noa Michal - in case everyone started shouting that it was too boyish. I think that's one of the loveliest combos I've seen. :)

Those are so lovely! I was going to comment on each one individually but it would have been repetitive. Noa Michal might be my favourite. Danya Michal is beautiful too. They really all are.
