I actually really like it. It has a good sound. It definitely seems masculine to me though.

I don't like Romilly Lucas because I trip on the lly-lu bit. Not a fan of Dashiell, so no comment... My favorite to go with Romilly of the ones I do like, though, is William. It just flows nicely.

I've never heard of Romilly, but it has a nice sound. I like Romina, if you're interested :)

William - really can't go wrong with it.
Lucas - not a fan of the sound.
Nathaniel "Nate" - eh, I used to like it but its appeal has now gone. It would age well, and I can see it on other peoples children.
Dashiell "Dash" - nice
James "Jem" - love :) Jem is a thousand times better than done to death Jamie.

Alexandria - fine, but just a bit *too* frilly for me.
Evangeline "Eva" - Evangeline's pretty and all, but I prefer the directness and simple beauty of Eva and Eve.
Matilda "Tilly" - lovely, but I reckon we Brits are going to see a big surge of Matilda's soon. We'll just have to wait and see though.
Juniper "Juno" - really cool.
Ivy - ditto the above. Old fashioned, but in a spunky way.

I think Romilly could be quite nice and respectable, and it's really not unprecedented.

I like it better with Matilda and Juniper than I do with Alexandria and Evangeline, but it's really fine with any of the names on your list there.
