Jennifer Lopez seems like the type of person who has her finger on the pulse of all things trendy and en vogue. These names are perfect for her.

Well I love the name Max, but unfortunatly it seems to be a popular choice with the celeb crowd at the moment. Emme is nice, well I think I like it anyway! If it's supposed to be like Emmy then I like it, but if it's creative and some version of Emma, then it's not for me.

So how exactley do you say Emme?

I can't work it out. Is it the same as Emma? Emmy spelt with an e? Or maybe just Em? Or like Emma, but with an -eh ending? Emm-eh?

Max is good, but I don't like Emme. Emme would be better Emma in my opinion.

I actually posted about this lower down on the board except I read the names are Maximiano and Emelina. I assume Max and Emme are nicknames. Overall I think the names are understated for celebrities. Maybe they are honouring. I think Maxwell and Emma would have made a classy twinset. Emalina is pretty. Max can stand on its own, but Emme is too nicknamey imo.

Max is getting tiresome. It seems like it's the new tryndee name for little boys. I find Emme to be strangely appealing, however. It's much better than the overused Emma.

I don't get it (the two Maxes). I think it's a dreadful name. Clichéd on a dog, and just dreadful on a child.

I don't know whether to say Emme as 2 syllables or 1. I'm heartily sick of Em- names all round, though. All in all I'm not impressed with J-Lo's choices.

Nice names although I like Emma or Emily better with the nn Emme. But weren't those the kid names in the preschool show "Dragon Tales"?

With LMS's info I like Emelina. Max is cute too but expected with rich people so therefore boring.

In the magazine In Touch Max and Emme are short for Maximiano and Emelina.
