What do people think of the name Ione? I have recently learned that it was more popular earlier in this century, so many may associate it with old women. I have never known a real woman with that name, and the only time I ever heard it was on actress Ione Sky. Hence, I have always associated the name with a young, pretty woman, not an older woman. For that reason, I think it's a very pretty name for girls, but I would be curious to hear what the rest of you think of that name.
