I really like the name Ella, it's sweet yet spunky. I also really like Blake, but definitely only for a boy.

I love Elisabeth with the nickname Ella! Elisabeth is actually one of my top favorites for a girl (with this spelling). Elizabeth isn't bad; I just prefer the 's' over the 'z'.

I love Elizabeth but have not heard Ella as a nickname for it but it works. I also like Ella alone. Blake does not seem at all the style of the classic Elizabeth/Ella espically on a girl but the parents must like different names just not like classics, more modern, etc. Blake is okay though.

My first thought was 'how cute' but then I read that Blake was a girl. If it had been boy/girl it would have been cute. Kudos to the parents for not being themey, though.

Everything you said, although Blake on a girl is okay with me. I just would've prefered her twin to have a name with a similar masculine feel. Blake and Reese, Blake and Ashley, etc.

I'm not in love with the name Blake but I don't mind it for a boy. I actually thought the sibset was sort of sweet until I read that Blake was a girl (horrible)! Ella and Blake would have been fairly nice for boy-girl twins, I think, but it's really bad on two girls. Elizabeth/Ella is such a classic and Blake is so trendy! Aside from that, I far prefer Elisabeth to Elizabeth and I like Ella well enough.

I really dislike both names Bleke (for boy)reminds me Blake's Red Dragon and Ella remind me Cruela De Vile

I like Ella as it's own name, without having to be short for Elisabeth or Elizabeth. I also really like Blake, and I like if for a girl. I actually really like the sibset of Ella and Blake, the styles don't completely match up, but they sound good together imo.

I really like Ella, dislike Elizabeth / Elisabeth (though I can tolerate the 's' spelling).

Ella and Blake would have been such a nice twin set if Blake were a boy. On a girl, it seems trashy.
