I really like it, but it isn't something I would use.

I only like the French pronunciation. Otherwise it reminds me of the nerd on the movie Grease. I like the name spelled Yujaynie better, that way people wont say it the Englich way.Aria

I adore it. It is chic, sophisticated, elegant, exotic. Stunning.

It's pretty. I wouldn't use it though, because of the pronunciation difficulties. The British princess Eugenie has her name pronounced in totally different ways by different newsreaders, from English "yoo-JEEN-ee" to half-French "yoo-ZHAY-nee". I don't know how she actually pronounces it herself._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Actually, guns do kill people. Ever tried slapping a person to death?"

I think she (well, her parents) pronounces it as kind of a mixture of the two. yoo-JAY-nee"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

I like it and prefer it to Eugenia. It's refreshing and has a great sound. Oddly enough I can't stand the male name Eugene.

I like Eugénie, pronouced the French way. Otherwise, I think it would be a good traditional but uncommon mn."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I like Eugénie (with the accent) quite well, but only in French. In English, I like Eugenia, which sounds more sophisticated and mature to me than Eugénie, which is "cuter"...but that may just be the "-ie" ending in my English ears.~ Caitlín
