1) Do you know a lot of Natalies? I know a handful around my age (26) - it was #60 in the US in my birth year. Natalie has become much more popular since then.

2) What do you think of (particularly of the person) when you hear the name? This is one of my favourite more popular names, I just love the sound. I have only ever really been close with one Natalie, so it reminds me of her (sweet, sort of shy, wanting to grow up faster than she was).

3) What nickname would you give? Nata, but not Nat (I did know one Natalie who went exclusively by Nat and she was not my favourite person. Also, it's just like gnat.)

4) Would you name your child this? I wouldn't, but only because it's too popular now. But I am always happy when someone has this name.
