Marcella?
My SO has been talking about names, just in general, and he's made the comment about his great-grandmother, who was named Marcella. They pronounced it Mar-cell-ah, and called her Cella or Cee for short.
We've been bouncing the name around, both of us preferring the pronunciation of Mar-chell-ah, however, as a name it still sounds a bit old. So, thoughts on nicknames? The only one I can think of is Ella, which is cute, but I'm afraid it's a bit trendy.

I think Marcia could work as a nickname.
I like the name Marcella, actually. I prefer it pronounced Mar-cell-ah, but that's just my opinion. It's nice either way. Cella is a cute nn, or Elle, maybe. Ella is way too popular to use. Marcella doesn't seem to old to me, but maybe that's because I know a young person named Marcella and on her, it seems her age. Marcella ages extremely well.
I know one but she pronounces it Mar-chell-a which I think is much nicer. I also like Marcelle (mar-sell).
I love Mar-cell-ah!
