I once thought that Jane was very plain and boring.
Now, being influenced by Jane Austen and Jane Eyre, among others, I see Jane as a classic, elegant but still simple and spunky name.

I can ditto all of this

My younger self thought Jane (and Mary) were the dullest names out there.

I used to think Mary and Jane were dull, dull, dull. Now I love both of them, especially Mary.
