Jane
Honestly, what do you think of Jane? Is too old fashion? What impressions do you get by the name? Thanks!

Beautiful, classic, timeless. It has such a subtle, graceful feel to it. Slightly off topic, but I love to pair Jane with elaborate middle names like Jane Augusta, Jane Laurentine, or Jane Theresia. Jane is shorter, straightforward name that I think can still carry a heavier middle name quite well.

I love the name Jane and I don't find it old fashioned at all. I always imagine someone who's sensible and strong willed, but also very sweet. I think of Jane Bennet from Pride and Prejudice first though!

I quite like Jane. It is dropping in popularity and I don't think it is as plain as the stereotype. I don't think it's too old-fashioned.

I love Jane. :) I agree with all those people who say it's timeless, classic, etc. As for my impression of Jane, it brings to mind somebody who would be very sophisticated and smart. My favorite spelling is Jayne, as it reminds me of Jayne Mansfield. But I love seeing Jane as well. I might use Jayne as a mn (for Meredith) someday.

Jane is very cute. It has a strong history which I like. Among others, it makes me think of Jane Austen and Lady Jane Grey. It is not too old, old but in a good way like a classic. I like your name, Elizabeth, even more though. It is my favorite.

A name with a strong history of usage that may go in and out of fashion but is always around and never completely disapears.
A sweet classic name, strong yet feminine.

I once thought that Jane was very plain and boring.
Now, being influenced by Jane Austen and Jane Eyre, among others, I see Jane as a classic, elegant but still simple and spunky name.

Too old fashioned? What does that mean? ;-)Jane is timeless. Madysins, Destynees, and yes even Lilys and Avas will come and go. Jane will remain. Jane is a still-waters-run-deep kind of a name. She's not loud and flashy, but that's why she endures.

I think it's wonderful and just think of all the namesakes, real and fictional. It has history which most names lack today (all your random surnames and pretty but meaningless syllables etc).I'd definitely use it myself.

I love Jane for its elegance and simplicity. It's also very refreshing these days, since most named being used are fussy and over the top.

I love the name Jane! Some people might think it's old-fashioned, but I think it's timeless and very refreshing. If I had a daughter today there is a good chance she would be named Jane.

When I hear the name Jane I think first of my two great-Aunts and then of the really smart girl from my Pre-Calculus class last year. I don't think its all that old fashioned and its very short sweet and pretty. I would love to see it on a little girl today. I would find it refreshing.

I really like it and I find it kind of refreshing. It's simple and classic in a good way. It's old but it doesn't make me think about an old lady. It reminds me of Jane Austen, which for me is a wonderful association.

Miss Jane Marple is the first thing that comes to mind

I don't think it's too old fashion. Of course it's old but not too old.
It's classic and nice to see a different name then all the Kailey's, Braelyn's, Makkynzyie's and Rowan's.So, go for it! :)
