I like Cassia well enough and I prefer this pronunciation. I do confess that cass-EE-a reminds me of the Casio brand yet CASHA-a reminds me of cashew so I definitely prefer the longer pronunciation.

I've never seen this pronunciation. When pronounced like KASH-ah, I really like it. Cass-ee-ah just sounds wrong to me and is too close to the Casio brand name.

I actually know a young lady named Cassia. She's very nice and pretty, and the name suits her well. I think it's a fine name, though some people do have trouble spelling and pronouncing it.

I love it, but only pronounced CASH-ah. Cass-ee-ah feels drawn out and too prettified for me, while CASH-ah has a lot of strength and confident femininity going on for me.Cassia Rae was my favourite name in seventh or eighth grade. :)Array

Ditto!I love Cassia (CASH-ah). Cassia Rae was on my girl's list when I was pregnant. Rae is a family name.
