Belle
I met a girl today named Belle. She was probably around 13 years old. I thought it was refreshing to hear Belle instead of Madison, Taylor, or Emily. And I'm pretty sure her full name was Belle, not short for Isabelle. So wdyt? Do you like it?

I really like it, in fact, I like it more than Isabel, Isobel, Isabella, Isabelle, Annabella, Dulcibella... all those -belle names.
I like Bell without the e as well.

I prefer Belle as a middle name but it's really nice.

Ding dong... That's the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Belle. Also I don't like it because it's like naming your child 'Beauty' (I don't like Bella either). Buit I agree that Madison, Taylor and Emily are getting boring.

I dislike it. My DD's name is Isabel and I really don't like it when people call her 'Bel'.

Love it!I've loved this name ever since Disney's Beauty and the Beast came out. That's my favourite Disney movie and I think the character of Belle is very sweet and kind, which made me like the name even more. I also love that it means beautiful.

Beautiful name, no pun intended. It's my grandmother's name and I intend to use it as a middle name for a daughter one day.

I think it's very sweet, although it is my dachshund's name so I may be biased. :) It's harder to picture on a girl but I do like it.

I know what you mean, we used to have a dachshund named Daisy. I hear people remark about how pretty Daisy is for a little girl, but all I can picture is my dog :P

I hate it, sorry. Too princessy by far.

I love Belle.

It's alright. I like it better than Bella, but it's still kind of boring. I think I'd rather see Belle used as a nn.

I love Belle and agree that it is very refreshing. It has such a simple, pure sound that's very strong.

I really like Belle as a stand alone name. Even though "Belle" names (Isabel, Annabel, Isabella, Bella) are kind of trendy right now, there is something simple and refreshing about Belle on it's own.

I think its really nice but i have trouble imagining it on a woman between 20 and 40. But yes it is a nice change :)
