Not in the US
When I was a kid, I used to love the name Ashley for a boy. Then I remember hearing the hockey player Ashley Buckberger saying he was a born fighter since ever since kindergarten with a name like Ashley he's gotten beaten up so he had to learn to fight. It's the same as a boy named Sue.In the UK and Australia, maybe Ashley is more accepted on boys, but not currently in the US or Canada.
