Beth?
If you were going to call your child Beth as a nn, what name would you prefer? Elisabeth (Or Elizabeth) or Bethany?

I actually like Lilibeth the best. I think it's adorable. If I had to choose of those three I'd pick Elisabeth- somehow the z always seems so harsh to me.

I'd go with Elisabeth, but I actually don't like the nn Beth

I love Elizabeth, but Bethany I still like and think is pretty. Elizabeth has so many nicknames that the daughter may want to be Liz or Lizzie not Beth. Bethany has less nicknames so she would be more likely be Beth. You could just name your daughter Beth which was common in around the 1950s. Beth is a cute name and nickname!

Elizabeth, classic and timeless, and I believe the name of Beth in "Little Women".
I prefer Bethan, the Welsh name, to the more modern Bethany.

Elizabeth or Bethan, I really dislike Bethany

Elizabeth of course! (Though Bess is my prefered Elizabeth nickname.)And if I was feeling trendy, I'd call her Macbeth. ;-)

lol Macbeth could be interesting if she goes into theatre "the name of the play we're not allowed to say"

Haha, yeah. I'm imaging a dark theatre, the play's just about to start, everyone's waiting with anticipation and then all of a sudden a mother's voice: "Macbeth! Quiet down and stop playing with that! The show's about to start!"There'd be a riot, I think.

I like both but I like Liz or Lizzy for Elizabeth. I like Beth for Bethany.

From your options, Elizabeth, but I'd rather choose Bethan.
