Re: Scottish names
I'm with you on the trendy and misspelled names such as Logyn.... but ...- Eden - this is a very unisex name imo because it's a place. I have no problem with it on either gender.
- Georgia and Samuela - are not boy names ... they are variants of George and Samuel, but not boy names. Neither is Henrietta, Frances, Josephine, Paula / Pauline, etc. Plus these names have been used for centuries so it's not just something new parents have decided to place upon their children.I don't mind place names. I agree with you on super wordy names like Divine - Grace ... not my cup of tea. However, I like some single word names such as Grace, Faith, Blessing, etc.Jael is pronounced differently - Jay - Elle as far as I am aware of, not Jail. And it has no such connections. I love Snow, Wren, Flint, Forrest, Fox, and Shadow :P Hey, I like Lucky and Blessing too!!People have different tastes :)

I know Georgia and Samuela are not boys names... if you read my post carefully you would see that I was criticising people using these names on boys!I didn't mean to offend anyone by what I wrote. I am sure that some of the names are legitimate, pronounced differently, etc. I was just pointing out the obvious associations that people will inevitably make.S xx
