Message: "Neve" - Behind the Name

I have always liked the name Neve and it's going up on my list.
The thing is I though that it's pronounced 'nee-v', but today I heard the actress Neve Campbell pronounce it 'ne-v'.
So, what do you think of Neve and how do you pronounce it?
