Idea's for girl's name (boy/girl twin set)?
My husband and I are having a very difficult time coming up with a girl's name for our very soon to be girl/boy twins. We are both Iranians and are looking for an international name that will sound good in any language (like my name: Laila). We have decided on Kian for our son, which is both Persian and Gaelic (and short and sweet). To give you a better idea about our taste, here are a few names, we've talked about, but have not fallen in love with: Sophia- Currently our top pick, but too popular
Ella- my husband thinks it sounds too much like Allah
Arianna-he likes, but reminds me of Arianna Huffington
Sarai-I would like it to be pronounced with long a, but it wont be.
Ava-too popular
Ida- ehWe are not looking for anything too Arabic, but we have though of something like Norah, which is used in more cultures now. Looking forward to your help. Thanks,
Laila
