I just scrolled down and saw this message. It's ironic because I just posted under the post about the name "Grey".
Anyway, I once met a woman name Wren Grey, and in my opinion it's a really cool name.
Wren is awesome. I love nature names. Sparrow, Lark, Larkin, and others are some of my faves.
Wren Laura is ok
Wren Ruby
Wren Elodie
Wren Farrah
Wren Talitha
Wren Melanie
Wren Ashley
Wren Ione
Wren Ilsa
Wren Yvonne
Wren Zoe
Wren Jasper
Wren Pearl
Wren Kerensa
Wren Michelle
Wren Nicole
Wren Paloma
Wren Phoebe
Wren Penelope
Wren Beatrice

I guess I don't mind the name Wren really. I think I like it better as a mn, but I could see it as a fn too. Wren Laura doesn't really do anything for me. I think Wren needs a soft feminine name that's a little longer for the mn. What about:
Wren Abigail
Wren Keziah
Wren Sophia
Wren Talitha
Wren Elizabeth / Wren Eliza
Wren Isabelle / Wren Isabella
Wren Olivia
Wren Michaela
Wren Matilda
Wren Miriam
Wren Alexandra
Wren Victoria
Wren Bianca
Wren Claudia
Wren Felicity
Wren Georgia
Wren Lydia
Wren Lucinda

I love the way it's spelled and I have to keep the "W" in mind when I say it out loud -- otherwise I'll think of the cartoon "Ren & Stimpy". Half of me thinks of a girl with black hair and stunning blue eyes; another half can't get that disgusting (though very entertaining) cartoon out of my head. I do like the name.
Wren Laura is ok; I like Wren Lauren a little bit more. Though the name Madison isn't too popular on this board (though popular everywhere else lol) I do like Wren Madison.

Ooooh, Kerensa "Wren" is great!
Me too =P

I really don't like Wren - it makes me think of the underside of birds, with twiggy little scratchy claws and grey feathers. Also it's one of those words that stops making sense for me if I look at it for too long. And it reminds me of Ren and Stimpy.
That aside! How about:
Wren Ophelia
Wren Acacia
Wren Theodora
Wren Gabriella
Wren Arietta
Wren Elizabeth

Lol, it's hard for me too :P I'm trying to post a lot in these coming days so I'll get better used to it, but it's still kind of distracting.
I love it. It's a family surname for me, so I've actually considered using it, either as a name in its own right, or as a nn for Renata. It's refreshingly simple and the mental image of a tiny bird is very sweet.
Wren Laura is nice. For me, Wren brings to mind a Victorian Christmas card I saw once with a chubby little wren in the snow near a brick wall and a holly bush. So the combination Wren Victoria is the first thing to pop into my head. Others you might like (sorry for any repeats):
Wren Olivia
Wren Aurelia
Wren Dulcinea (= a sweet wren)
Wren Isidora [but not if your ln is Bull. Wren Isadora Bull sounds like wren is adorable. :-)]
Wren Ophelia
Wren Camilla / Camille
Wren Larissa ("lar-EE-sa")
Wren Dorothea
Wren Althea
Wren Olympia
Wren Ariadne
Wren Elizabeth (not imaginative, but it looks so well balanced)
Wren Arabella
Wren Isolde
Wren Astrid
Wren Evelina

What a fortunate family surname to have! Hey, now that you mention it, a nice family name I have is Flannery. Wren Flannery doesn't sound half bad...
Out of your list, I love:
Wren Olivia
Wren Isidora - Hehe, my surname isn't Bull (yet, at least!)
Wren Ophelia
Wren Larissa
Wren Elizabeth
Wren Evelina
Wren Susannah
Wren Betrys - I've never heard of this spelling, but I really like it!
Wren Aisling
Wren Fidelia - awesome meaning :)
Thanks so much! I have a lot to think about. :-)

It is a bit of a GP for me lately; it is so soft and sweet and simple sounding, but I think it has some spunk as well. I'm not a huge fan of Laura, though the combo flows well enough. Wren Eloise and Wren Daphne from the other posts are really nice! Some other possibilities:
Wren Frances (my favorite, I think), Wren Theresa, Wren Bernadette, Wren Malina, or Wren Isabel

I quite like it but I think it needs a 3 syllable mn

I actually did think about Wren Laurel for a split second, but nixed it when I noticed they're both words. It's probably not something most people would notice, lol, but I unfortunately do. Actually, now that you mention Laurel, I thought of Wren Daphne (Daphne meaning laurel). :-) Thank you for your comments and for sparking this new idea!
