Re: Rose?

Oh, but Rose as a fn is so unexpected. As a mn it's overly used. But as a fn, it's a surprise. Like Eve, its simplicity is its elegance. And you can go crazy with the mn with such a simple fn.
But you asked for Rose variants, so here's my list:
Rosamund
Rosalind
Rosa
Rosario
Rosalba
Rosalie
Rose of Sharon
Rosary
Rosemary (nn Romy)
Roseanne / Roseanna
Roswitha
Roisin
Another idea is to find a type of rose tree / bush. I have "Ingrid Bergman" (red tea) in my garden. Also, "Gordon Thomas" (yellow, English rose) and "Zephirine Drouhin" (cherry pink climber). If you find a name you like, then you could plant that bush / climber in the child's honor. Just an "out there" thought.
Good luck!
