I adore Elizabeth! In fact my second favorite combo is Elizabeth Kathleen nn Libby. Even though it's shown to be very popular I've only known a few Elizabeths and I went to 4 different schools so that says a lot. Plus, I only know one Elizabeth, the others went by Libby, Liz, or Beth.
I like most of the nn's for Elizabeth, but the only one I'd ever use is Libby. I knew a girl in high school named Libby and she was so cute and sweet that the name leaves a good impression on me.
Alizzabeth is a tragedy. It's taking a perfect good name and making it raunchy.
