Imo, Rowan is a masculine name, even though most people these days see it as unisex. To be honest, it sticks out like a sore thumb, when put in a sib set with your daughter's names. They are all quite feminine and Rowan just seems so different. Personally, I'd choose a different name.

I can see Rowan for a girl, moreso than some unisex names, but I MUCH prefer it on a boy. It definitely sounds like a sister to Tegan, though they're a little too similar, imo (due to the -an endings). Scarlet & Cecilia are much more feminine and girly, so I'd think Rowan would feel a bit like the odd man out, or be mistaken for a boy, at least in name only. But moreso than that, Scarlet & Rowan are much too "colorful" for siblings of any gender, IMO.

I hate Rowan on a girl. It is very masculine, IMO.

I really, really dislike. But I LOVE Rowena, go figure.I also really dislike Tegan. Scarlet/t is pretty, and Cecilia is nice too.

I agree with everything.

I love Rowan for a girl only. It just sounds so sweet, almost dainty.
It's on my own PNL for a girl.

I love Rowan, but only for a boy. Honestly, Rowan on a girl makes me wanna throw up..
I don't think it goes well with your other girls names either. Cecilia and Scarlet seems more romantic and Tegan more masculine so I would choose another "masculine" name.Maybe these would work..

I think Rowan sounds much better on a boy, but it isn't terrible on a girl. Rowena is lovely on a girl though.

I quite like it, but I prefer Rohan for a boy. I think your names are of all different types of names so it would fit!

Well, I used to prefer Rowan on a girl but am now liking it better for a boy. It still is a very nice girl name though. It's fairly unusual and it looks and sounds pretty.I think it goes very well with your other girl names, though I have to say that Rowan is my favorite out of the four.

Rowan is beautiful. I personally prefer it on a boy, but I think it works on a girl as well. It's such a sweet, natural name.I think that in a set of Cecilia, Scarlet, and Rowan, Cecilia is the one that sticks out for being so classic where the others are just slightly uncommon.
