I like quite a few word names too. River, Willow, Alder, and Taiga come to mind. But it's very different to have a name that actually IS a word - and is therefore self-aware and okay by me - than to have a name that just sounds similar to a word and therefore can bring in associations that may or may not be desired. Does that make sense?
